WHAT: How to make durum wheat pasta (orecchiette, cavatelli, etc).

You will receive a welcome packet and recipe a few days before our scheduled class. I will send you the ZOOM link via EMAIL 30 minutes before we start class. Class will be about 1 hour. Can’t wait to cook with you!

*Class size will be limited to 6 people so that we can ask questions, catch up and get the most out of our time together!

Note: I will email you once you are confirmed for the class. If you do not make these class dates due to capacity or your schedule doesn’t line up, don’t worry! I will be holding more dates and will email you to confirm the class.

Ingredients you will need…

This makes enough pasta for 3 people (scale up or down based on what you need):
The ratio of flour to water is 2:1

  • 200 g Semolina flour
  • 100 g Water
  • Bowl for mixing / small serrated knife

Pesto – NOTE: we will not be making in class, but I will demo if we have time (just a suggested pairing – this a typical pesto found in Trapani, Sicily)

  • Bunch of Basil
  • Small carton of cherry tomatoes (about 15 cherry tomatoes)
  • 2 hand fulls of blanched Almonds / Pine Nuts / or nut of your choice (optional)
  • 1 – 2 cloves of garlic (depending on your tolerance)
  • 4 glugs of Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
