We’ll be transforming this traditional spring vegetable into the perfect snack for aperitivo or contorno (side dish) that will be perfect for your Easter/Passover tables. Artichokes 3 ways. The possibilities are endless after you master how to clean, prep, and season these spring favorites. I’ll be teaching you 3 of my favorite was to prepare this veg: carciofi fritti, carciofi alla giudia, & carciofi alla Romana. I can’t wait for you to tackle these beauties with you while we sip on a cocktail made from artichokes (yes, that’s a thing!) and transport ourselves to Italy!
You will receive a welcome packet and recipe a few days before our scheduled class. I will send you the ZOOM link via EMAIL 30 minutes before we start class. Class will be about 1.5 hours. Can’t wait to cook with you!

Ingredients you’ll need…
- 2-4 Large fresh artichokes
- 6-12 fresh baby artichokes
- Water
- All purpose flour
- Light beer OR sparkling water
- White wine
- EVOO
- Lemons
- Vegetable Oil
- Parsley
- Garlic
- Salt / Pepper
- Paper towels
- Cynar Amaro or other amaro of choice(optional)
- Prosecco / Gin / Spirit of choice
- Sweet vermouth
